Our Rules

We use 3 simple rules to ensure everyone not only has a good time, but also knows how to lead raids of their own and get results.Rule 1No requirements and no judgement; Aside from ensuring we have the bare minimum number of healers and dps (2 and 7 respectively for most normal raiding content) we welcome all comps and all players. Its more important for people to have fun while gaming than anything else. Just remember, everyone's fun matters. If you show up in tank gear as a dps we may assist you into getting better gear.Rule 2
Full explanations, full fights. We make sure everyone knows why they died, what they survived, and what mechanics each boss has. If the 'meta' is to skip mechanics, we will at least explain how the mechanics we are skipping work in detail. However, more likely than not, we will just do them. This allows everyone a less frustrating experience if they die for "no reason" and will help them lead their own raids.
Rule 3
If its possible, we do it. "Optimal" isn't a word we frequently use, and we rarely ever ask people to change unless its required for mechanics. We have taken several hours on single bosses before, but we cleared them. We have failed bosses before, but we came back the next day to do it right. Its important to realize that everyone is there to have fun, including the raid leaders, so try your best!

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any requirements to join your raids?
None other than being level 80, having Heart of Thorns, and trying your best. We are currently only on the North American megaserver.
How much damage should a DPS be doing?A DPS player should at least be doing 15k damage to the training Golem in the Special Forces Training Area, assuming they have all boons and the golem has all conditions. There is a guide to testing your DPS here. You are allowed to use DPS meters, but telling other people they have bad DPS is not allowed unless they ask. Keep in mind that fights involve mechanics, and almost all mechanics are more important than DPS, so your DPS will likely be much lower in actual content than on a training golem.Do you need to join the guild? No, the guild is primarily there as a secondary way to fill raids in case people need to leave mid-run. Raids are usually done on a first come-first serve basis in regards to joining the squad once it opens. How long does it take to get Legendary armor?Depending on how much you raid, precursor armor can be obtained in as little as 5-6 weeks of doing a few raids a week. There are some RNG and time-gate elements that can cause this to go up to 8-10 weeks if you have minimal time and/or get extremely unlucky. Once you get your precursor armor it can take another few weeks to get the materials to upgrade it to a full set, but you should have enough raid materials for a few pieces of legendary armor right off the bat.Do I need to pay for anything?Nothing except for your own materials when crafting your legendary set.How long do raids last usually?Emboldened raids can last anywhere from an hour to 90 minutes assuming everyone does well, Non-Emboldened raids last around 2 hours on average unless there is trouble with a boss.Wings 5-7 usually will be longer due to the increased difficulty on many mechanics. Are you beginner friendly?
A large number of our raid leaders started out knowing nothing about raiding, and we love showing people they can raid, and getting them their first clears.
How do you deal with trolls?Barely any trolls bother us ingame, but if someone is clearly sabotaging their run, they will be given a warning and then kicked if they continue to harm other's chances. This is extremely rare. Keep in mind as long as you are clearly trying, you will never be kicked even if you don't always do amazing. What are the best classes for raiding?
Whatever you enjoy playing the most. Class guides can be found on MetaBattle, Hardstuck, and SnowCrows if you need guidance.
Are there any raid guides to help me prepare?
Mukluk Labs and Hardstuck make amazing raid guides in case you need to prepare.
Is there a group I can join if I decide I want to join a static?Snebzor is part of our server and has a entire Discord server meant for setting up statics. Keep in mind that there ARE requirements and you are expected to know your class and role before joining these statics.
